| In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
|
بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
|
| Woe to every scandal-monger and slanderer, (1)
|
وَيْلٌ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُّمَزَةٍ ﴿١﴾
|
| who amasses wealth and counts it over. (2)
|
الَّذِي جَمَعَ مَالًا وَعَدَّدَهُ ﴿٢﴾
|
| He supposes his wealth will make him immortal! (3)
|
يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُ أَخْلَدَهُ ﴿٣﴾
|
| No indeed! He will surely be cast into the Crusher. (4)
|
كَلَّا ۖ لَيُنبَذَنَّ فِي الْحُطَمَةِ ﴿٤﴾
|
| And what will show you what is the Crusher? (5)
|
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْحُطَمَةُ ﴿٥﴾
|
| [It is] the fire of Allah, set ablaze, (6)
|
نَارُ اللَّـهِ الْمُوقَدَةُ ﴿٦﴾
|
| which will overspread the hearts. (7)
|
الَّتِي تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى الْأَفْئِدَةِ ﴿٧﴾
|
| Indeed it will close in upon them (8)
|
إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِم مُّؤْصَدَةٌ ﴿٨﴾
|
| in outstretched columns. (9)[1]
|
فِي عَمَدٍ مُّمَدَّدَةٍ ﴿٩﴾
|
