Text:Sura al-Masad

| In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful. | بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ |
| Perish the hands of Abu Lahab, and perish he! (1) | تَبَّتْ یدَا أَبِی لَهَبٍ وَتَبَّ ﴿۱﴾ |
| Neither his wealth availed him, nor what he had earned. (2) | مَا أَغْنَیٰ عَنْهُ مَالُهُ وَ مَاكَسَبَ ﴿۲﴾ |
| Soon he will enter the blazing fire, (3) | سَیصْلَیٰ نَارًا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍ ﴿۳﴾ |
| and his wife [too], the firewood carrier, (4) | وَامْرَأَتُهُ حَمَّالَةَ الْحَطَبِ ﴿۴﴾ |
| with a rope of palm fibre around her neck. (5)[1] | فِی جِیدِهَا حَبْلٌ مِّن مَّسَدٍ ﴿۵﴾ |
