Text:Sura al-Sharh

In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful. بِسْمِ الله الرَّحمٰن الرَّحِیم
Did We not open your breast for you, (1) أَلَم نَشرَح لَكَ صَدرَكَ(١)
and relieve you of your burden, (2) وَوَضَعنا عَنكَ وِزرَكَ(٢)
which [almost] broke your back? (3) الَّذي أَنقَضَ ظَهرَكَ(٣)
Did We not exalt your name? (4) وَرَفَعنا لَكَ ذِكرَكَ(٤)
Indeed ease accompanies hardship. (5) فَإِنَّ مَعَ العُسرِ يُسرًا(٥)
Indeed ease accompanies hardship. (6) إِنَّ مَعَ العُسرِ يُسرًا(٦)
So when you are done, appoint, (7)[1] فَإِذا فَرَغتَ فَانصَب(٧)
and turn eagerly to your Lord. (8)[2] وَإِلىٰ رَبِّكَ فَارغَب(٨)
