Al-'Ahd Supplication: Difference between revisions

'''Duʿaʾ al-ʿAhd''' (Arabic:{{ia|دعاء العهد}}) is a supplication narrated from [[Imam al-Sadiq (a)]] and there, re-allegiance with [[Imam al-Mahdi (a)]] and supplicating for his return are mentioned. Recitation of this supplication during the [[occultation]] of Imam al-Mahdi (a) has been greatly emphasized. It is said that anyone who recites this supplication forty successive mornings will be among the companions of Imam al-Mahdi (a).

Du'a al-'Ahd includes special greetings of the reciter of supplication and also all male and female believers all around the world and the reciter's parents to [[Imam al-Mahdi (a)]]. Then, the covenant and allegiance with Imam (a) is renewed and keeping it until the [[Day of Judgment]] is mentioned. Then, the reciter asks God that, "if my death comes while Imam (a) has not returned yet, take me out of the grave and grant me the opportunity to help him." Then, the request for meeting Imam (a) has been mentioned in a fine way.
