Introduction
Dar al-I'lam li-Madrasat Ahl al-Bayt Institute began its activities internationally in 2010 under the supervision of Nasir Makarim Shirazi and the management of Mahdi Makarim Shirazi, to recognize, criticize, and confront Wahhabi thoughts.[1][2] This institute holds courses on criticizing Wahhabism at levels three and four of the Islamic seminaries for students.[3] It is said that the officials of this institute seek to turn it into a research institute for Salafi studies.[4]
The Dar al-I'lam building is located in the Dar al-Wilaya Scientific Complex in Jamkaran, Qom.[5] Branches of this institute were launched in Shiraz[6] and Ahvaz in 1396 Sh/2017-18.[7] In Mordad 1398 Sh (July/August 2019), the Mashhad branch of this institute was also established.[8]
