This book is also written by Sheikh Tusi. He wrote this book after Tahdhib al-Ahkam in response to some of his students’ requests.
This hadith collection is also by al-Shaykh al-Tusi. He compiled this work after Tahdhib al-ahkam in response to some of his students’ requests.
In this book, he collected only those hadiths concerning issues in fiqh for which there are opposite hadiths.
In this work, he collected only those hadiths on fiqh which apparently contradict each other. Like other fiqh references, categorization of topics in this book begins with taharah and ends with diyat. Under each topic, he first mentions the hadiths he regarded as authentic, then mentions the ones that apparently contradict them, and finally tries to harmonize them.
He has first brought those hadiths he thought authentic and then he mentioned opposite hadiths and then had discussed both.

The book does not cover all issues in fiqh and only addresses those topics in which there are opposite hadiths. Like other fiqh references, categorization of topics in this book begins with Ṭahārah and ends with Dīyyāt.
There are 5,511 hadiths in this book.
