Ibn Abi al-Hadid considers the hadith as a certain testimony for faithfulness of Malik al-Ashtar. He refers to the tradition that says a group of the believers will bury Abu Dhar and since Malik al-Ashtar was among that group in Rabadha (the place that Abu Dhar was banished) to bury Abu Dhar, Ibn Abi al-Hadid concluded that according to the hadith of the Prophet (s), Malik was faithful.
