[[Sayyid ʾAbu al-Hassan al-Isfahani]] prayed on his corpse in the holy shrine of Imam ʾAli (a), and he was buried near his master, al-Muhaddith al-Nuri, in the shrine. [[Sayyid Muhsin al-ʾAmin]] writes: three mourning ceremonies were held for Qumi in Najaf, Karbala, and Kazimayn.
