Umm Ishaq: Difference between revisions

Umm Ishaq daughter of Talha b. ‘Ubayd Allah was one of the wives of Imam Hasan al-Mujtaba (a). After the martyrdom of Imam al-Hasan (a), she married Imam al-Husayn (a). Umm Ishaq was the mother of Talha son of Imam al-Hasan (a) and Fatima was a daughter of Imam al-Husayn (a).  After the martyrdom of Imam al-Husayn (a), she married ‘Abd Allah b. Muhammad b. ‘Abd al-Rahman b. Abi Bakr. Some sources have mentioned Tamam b. ‘Abbas b. ‘Abd al-Muttalib as her husband after the martyrdom of Imam al-Husayn (a). Historical reports have described her beautiful but bad-tempered.
