Text:Al-'Asharat Supplication

In the Name of Allah; the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.	بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
All Glory be to Allah,	سُبْحَانَ ٱللَّهِ
all praise be to Allah,	وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ
there is no god save Allah,	وَلاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ ٱللَّهُ
Allah is the Greatest,	وَٱللَّهُ اكْبَرُ
there is neither power nor might save with Allah, the Most High, the All-magnificent.	وَلاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلْعَلِيِّ ٱلْعَظِيمِ
Glory be to Allah in hours of the night and at the two ends of the day.	سُبْحَانَ ٱللَّهِ آنَاءَ ٱللَّيْلِ وَاطْرَافَ ٱلنَّهَارِ
Glory be to Allah in the morning and the evening hours.	سُبْحَانَ ٱللَّهِ بِٱلْغُدُوِّ وَٱلآصَالِ
Glory be to Allah in the early hours of night and morning.	سُبْحَانَ ٱللَّهِ بِٱلْعَشِيِّ وَٱلإِبْكَارِ
Glory be to Allah when you enter the night and when you enter the morning.	سُبْحَانَ ٱللَّهِ حِينَ تُمْسُونَ وَحِينَ تُصْبِحُونَ
Unto Him be praise in the heavens, the earth,	وَلَهُ ٱلْحَمْدُ فِي ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ وَٱلارْضِ
at the sun's decline, and in the noonday.	وَعَشِيّاً وَحِينَ تُظْهِرُونَ
He brings forth the living from the dead,	يُخْرِجُ ٱلْحَيَّ مِنَ ٱلمَيِّتِ
brings forth the dead from the living,	وَيُخْرِجُ ٱلْمَيِّتَ مِنَ ٱلحَيِّ
revives the earth after its death,	وَيُحْيِي ٱلارْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا
and even so will you be brought forth.	وَكَذٰلِكَ تُخْرَجُونَ
Glorified be Your Lord, the Lord of Majesty, from that which they attribute (to Him).	سُبْحَانَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ ٱلْعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ
Peace be upon the Messengers.	وَسَلاَمٌ عَلَىٰ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
All praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.	وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَالَمِينَ
Glory be to the Lord of Kingdom and Realm.	سُبْحَانَ ذِي ٱلْمُلْكِ وَٱلْمَلَكُوتِ
Glory be to the Lord of Majesty and Magnificence.	سُبْحَانَ ذِي ٱلْعِزَّةِ وَٱلْجَبَرُوتِ
Glory be to the Lord of Greatness and Magnitude;	سُبْحَانَ ذِي ٱلْكِبْرِيَاءِ وَٱلْعَظَمَةِ
the True Sovereign, the Guardian, and the Holy.	ٱلْمَلِكِ ٱلْحَقِّ ٱلْمُهَيْمِنِ ٱلْقُدُّوسِ
Glory be to Allah, the Sovereign, the Ever-living Who never dies.	سُبْحَانَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمَلِكِ ٱلْحَيِّ ٱلَّذِي لاَ يَمُوتُ
Glory be to Allah, the Ever-living, the Holy.	سُبْحَانَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْمَلِكِ ٱلْحَيِّ ٱلْقُدُّوسِ
Glory be to the Self-Existent, the Eternal.	سُبْحَانَ ٱلْقَائِمِ ٱلدَّائِمِ
Glory be to the Eternal, the Self-Existent.	سُبْحَانَ ٱلدَّائِمِ ٱلْقَائِمِ
Glory be to my Lord, the Most Great.	سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ ٱلْعَظِيمِ
Glory be to my Lord, the Most High.	سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ ٱلاعْلَىٰ
Glory be to the Ever-living, the Self-Existent.	سُبْحَانَ ٱلْحَيِّ ٱلْقَيُّومِ
Glory be to the Exalted, the Most High.	سُبْحَانَ ٱلْعَلِيِّ ٱلاعْلَىٰ
Glory be to Him, and Exalted be Him.	سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ
Glorified (is He), Holy (is He),	سُبُّوحٌ قُدُّوسٌ
Our Lord, and the Lord of the angels and the Spirit.	رَبُّنَا وَرَبُّ ٱلْمَلاَئِكَةِ وَٱلرُّوحِ
Glory be to the Eternal Who never forgets.	سُبْحَانَ ٱلدَّائِمِ غَيْرِ ٱلْغَافِلِ
Glory be to the All-knowing Who does not need teaching.	سُبْحَانَ ٱلْعَالِمِ بِغَيْرِ تَعْلِيمٍ
Glory be to the Creator of all seen and unseen beings.	سُبْحَانَ خَالِقِ مَا يُرَىٰ وَمَا لاَ يُرَىٰ
Glory be to Him Who comprehends all visions,	سُبْحَانَ ٱلَّذِي يُدْرِكُ ٱلابْصَارَ
but visions cannot comprehend Him,	وَلاَ تُدْرِكُهُ ٱلابْصَارُ
and He is the Knower of subtleties, the Aware.	وَهُوَ ٱللَّطِيفُ ٱلْخَبِيرُ
O Allah, I begin my day covered with grace and favor from You	اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي اصْبَحْتُ مِنْكَ فِي نِعْمَةٍ وَخَيْرٍ
as well as blessing and good health.	وَبَرَكَةٍ وَعَافِيَةٍ
So, (please) bless Mu¦ammad and his Household,	فَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ
make perfect Your grace and favor for me	وَاتْمِمْ عَلَيَّ نِعْمَتَكَ وَخَيْرَكَ
as well as Your blessings and good health,	وَبَرَكَاتِكَ وَعَافِيَتَكَ
through redemption from Hellfire,	بِنَجَاةٍ مِنَ النَّارِ
grant me thanksgiving to You, enjoyment of wellbeing from You,	وَٱرْزُقْنِي شُكْرَكَ وَعَافِيَتَكَ
Your grace, and Your honor permanently so long as You decide to keep me alive.	وَفَضْلَكَ وَكَرَامَتَكَ ابَداً مَا ابْقَيْتَنِي
O Allah, only by Your Light have I been guided,	اَللَّهُمَّ بِنُورِكَ ٱهْتَدَيْتُ
only by Your grace have I been opulent,	وَبِفَضْلِكَ ٱسْتَغْنَيْتُ
and only by Your grace have I lived in eves and morns.	وَبِنِعْمَتِكَ اصْبَحْتُ وَامْسَيْتُ
O Allah, I ask You to witness for me, and You are surely sufficient as a witness,	اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي اشْهِدُكَ وَكَفَىٰ بِكَ شَهِيداً
and I also choose as witnesses Your angels, Prophets, Messengers,	وَاشْهِدُ مَلاَئِكَتَكَ وَانْبِيَاءَكَ وَرُسُلَكَ
the bearers of Your Throne, the inhabitants of Your heavens and earth,	وَحَمَلَةَ عَرْشِكَ وَسُكَّانَ سَمَاوَاتِكَ وَارْضِكَ
and all Your creatures,	وَجَمِيعَ خَلْقِكَ
that You are Allah, there is no god save You,	بِانَّكَ انْتَ ٱللَّهُ لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ انْتَ
One and Only Lord, having no partner,	وَحْدَكَ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَكَ
and that Muhammad, peace be upon him and his Household, is Your servant and Messenger,	وَانَّ مُحَمَّداً صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ عَبْدُكَ وَرَسُولُكَ
and that You have power over all things;	وَانَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْ ءٍ قَدِيرٌ
You grant life and cause to die and You cause to die and grant life;	تُحْيِي وَتُمِيتُ وَتُمِيتُ وَتُحْيِي
and I witness that Paradise is true,	وَاشْهَدُ انَّ ٱلْجَنَّةَ حَقٌّ
Hellfire is true,	وَانَّ ٱلنَّارَ حَقٌّ
Resurrection is true,	وَانَّ ٱلنُّشُورَ حَقٌ
the Hour is coming, there is no doubt about it,	وَٱلسَّاعَةَ آتِيَةٌ لاَ رَيْبَ فِيهَا
and Allah shall raise up those who are in graves.	وَانَّ ٱللَّهَ يَبْعَثُ مَنْ فِي ٱلْقُبُورِ
I also witness that `Al¢ the son of Ab£-±¡lib is truly the commander of the faithful, indeed,	وَاشْهَدُ انَّ عَلِيَّ بْنَ ابِي طَالِبٍ امِيرُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ حَقّاً حَقّاً
the Imams from his offspring are the guides, leaders, and well-guided,	وَانَّ ٱلائِمَّةَ مِنْ وُلْدِهِ هُمُ ٱلائِمَّةُ ٱلْهُدَاةُ ٱلْمَهْدِيُّونَ
neither straying off nor misleading,	غَيْرُ ٱلضَّالِّينَ وَلاَ ٱلْمُضِلِّينَ
and they are Your chosen representatives,	وَانَّهُمْ اوْلِيَاؤُكَ ٱلْمُصْطَفَوْنَ
Your triumphant party,	وَحِزْبُكَ ٱلْغَالِبُونَ
Your choice, the most favorable of all Your creatures,	وَصِفْوَتُكَ وَخِيَرَتُكَ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ
the superior ones whom You have selected for Your religion,	وَنُجَبَاؤُكَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱنْتَجَبْتَهُمْ لِدِينِكَ
decided on from among Your beings,	وَٱخْتَصَصْتَهُمْ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ
chosen from among Your servants,	وَٱصْطَفَيْتَهُمْ عَلَىٰ عِبَادِكَ
and made Claims against all beings.	وَجَعَلْتَهُمْ حُجَّةً عَلَىٰ ٱلْعَالَمِينَ
May Your consent, peace, mercy, and blessings be upon them.	صَلَوَاتُكَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَٱلسَّلاَمُ وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

O Allah, (please do) certify this witness for me with You	اللَّهُمَّ ٱكْتُبْ لِي هٰذِهِ ٱلشَّهَادَةَ عِنْدَكَ
so that You shall give it back to me on the Resurrection Day while You are pleased with me.	حَتَّىٰ تُلَقِّنَنِيهَا يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَامَةِ وَانْتَ عَنِّي رَاضٍ
Verily, You have power over all that which You will.	إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ مَا تَشَاءُ قَدِيرٌ
O Allah, to You be praise the first of which ascends while its end is infinite.	اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ حَمْداً يَصْعَدُ اوَّلُهُ وَلاَ يَنْفَدُ آخِرُهُ
O Allah, to You be praise due to which the heavens humbles itself to You	اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ حَمْداً تَضَعُ لَكَ ٱلسَّمَاءُ كَنَفَيْهَا
and the earth as well as all those on it glorify You.	وَتُسَبِّحُ لَكَ ٱلارْضُ وَمَنْ عَلَيْهَا
O Allah, to You be praise—eternal, endless,	اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ حَمْداً سَرْمَداً ابَداً
having neither cessation nor exhaustion,	لاَ ٱنْقِطَاعَ لَهُ وَلاَ نَفَادَ
fitting You, and being dedicated to You,	وَلَكَ يَنْبَغِي وَإِلَيْكَ يَنْتَهِي
about me, on (Your favors to) me, with me,	فِيَّ وَعَلَيَّ وَلَدَيَّ
along with me, before me, after me,	وَمَعِي وَقَبْلِي وَبَعْدِي
in front of me, over me, beneath me,	وَامَامِي وَفَوْقِي وَتَحْتِي
when I die, remain totally alone, and will be then terminated.	وَإِذَا مِتُّ وَبَقِيتُ فَرْداً وَحِيداً ثُمَّ فَنِيتُ
To You be all praise when I shall be resurrected and raised up (from grave).	وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ إِذَا نُشِرْتُ وَبُعِثْتُ
O my Lord, O Allah, to You be all praise	يَا مَوْلاَيَ اللَّهُمَ وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ
and all thanks in all forms of praising You	وَلَكَ ٱلشُّكْرُ بِجَمِيعِ مَحَامِدِكَ كُلِّهَا
for all Your favors	عَلَىٰ جَمِيعِ نَعْمَائِكَ كُلِّهَا
until (this) praise achieves the pleasure and satisfaction of You, O our Lord.	حَتَّىٰ يَنْتَهِيَ ٱلْحَمْدُ إِلَىٰ مَا تُحِبُّ رَبَّنَا وَتَرْضَىٰ
O Allah, to You be all praise for each and every food, drink,	اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ اكْلَةٍ وَشَرْبَةٍ
power, grip,	وَبَطْشَةٍ وَقَبْضَةٍ
extension, and for each place of a single hair.	وَبَسْطَةٍ وَفِي كُلِّ مَوْضِعِ شَعْرَةٍ
O Allah, to You be all praise that is as eternal as You are.	اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ حَمْداً خَالِداً مَعَ خُلُودِكَ
To You be all praise that never ends save Your knowledge (about it).	وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ حَمْداً لاَ مُنْتَهَىٰ لَهُ دُونَ عِلْمِكَ
To You be all praise that has no limit save when You will.	وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ حَمْداً لاَ امَدَ لَهُ دُونَ مَشِيَّتِكَ
To You be all praise the one and only reward of its sayer is nothing save Your pleasure.	وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ حَمْداً لاَ اجْرَ لِقَائِلِهِ إِلاَّ رِضَاكَ
To You be all praise for You act forbearingly though You know.	وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ عَلَىٰ حِلْمِكَ بَعْدَ عِلْمِكَ
To You be all praise for You pardon though You have power (not to do).	وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ عَلَىٰ عَفْوِكَ بَعْدَ قُدْرَتِكَ
To You be all praise and You are the source of praise.	وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ بَاعِثَ ٱلْحَمْدِ
To You be all praise and You are the inheritor of praise.	وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ وَارِثَ ٱلْحَمْدِ
To You be all praise and You are the fashioner of praise.	وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ بَدِيعَ ٱلْحَمْدِ
To You be all praise and You are the utmost of praise.	وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ مُنْتَهَىٰ ٱلْحَمْدِ
To You be all praise and You are the author of praise.	وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ مُبْتَدِعَ ٱلْحَمْدِ
To You be all praise and You are the object of praise.	وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ مُشْتَرِيَ ٱلْحَمْدِ
To You be all praise and You are the lord of praise.	وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ وَلِيَّ ٱلْحَمْدِ
To You be all praise and You are the ultimate objective of praise.	وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ قَدِيمَ ٱلْحَمْدِ
To You be all praise and You are truthful in promise, fulfiller of pledge,	وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ صَادِقَ ٱلْوَعْدِ وَفِيَّ ٱلْعَهْدِ
mighty in power, and subsistingly glorious.	عَزِيزَ ٱلْجُنْدِ قَائِمَ ٱلْمَجْدِ
To You be all praise and You are the highest in ranks, the responsive to prayers,	وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ رَفِيعَ ٱلدَّرَجَاتِ مُجِيبَ ٱلدَّعَوَاتِ
the descender of sings (or Verses) from above seven skies,	مُنَزِّلَ ٱلآيَاتِ مِنْ فَوْقِ سَبْعِ سَمَاوَاتٍ
the grantor of outstanding blessings,	عَظِيمَ ٱلْبَرَكَاتِ
the bringer forth of light from utter darkness,	مُخْرِجَ ٱلنُّورِ مِنَ ٱلظُّلُمَاتِ
the bringer forth of those who are in darkness to light,	وَمُخْرِجَ مَنْ فِي ٱلظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَىٰ ٱلنُّورِ
the changer of evil deeds into good deeds,	مُبَدِّلَ ٱلسَّيِّئَاتِ حَسَنَاتٍ
and the maker of good deeds raise to high ranks.	وَجَاعِلَ ٱلْحَسَنَاتِ دَرَجَاتٍ
O Allah, to You be all praise and You are the Forgiver of the faults, the Acceptor of repentance,	اَللَّهُمَّ لَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ غَافِرَ ٱلذَّنْبِ وَقَابِلَ ٱلتَّوْبِ
severe to punish, and Lord of bounty.	شَدِيدَ ٱلْعِقَابِ ذَا ٱلطَّوْلِ
There is no god save You; to You shall be the return.	لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ انْتَ إِلَيْكَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ
O Allah, to You be all praise in the night when it draws a veil.	اَللَّهُمَّ لَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ فِي ٱللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَىٰ
To You be all praise in the day when it shines in brightness.	وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ فِي ٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا تَجَلَّىٰ
To You be all praise in the Hereafter and the former life.	وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ فِي ٱلآخِرَةِ وَٱلاولَىٰ
To You be all praise as many as the numbers of all stars and angels in the heavens.	وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ كُلِّ نَجْمٍ وَمَلَكٍ فِي ٱلسَّمَاءِ
To You be all praise as much as dust and as many as pebbles and seeds.	وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ ٱلثَّرَىٰ وَٱلْحَصَىٰ وَٱلنَّوَىٰ
To You be all praise as many as all that which is in the air.	وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ مَا فِي جَوِّ ٱلسَّمَاءِ
To You be all praise as many as all that which is in the interior of the earth.	وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ مَا فِي جَوْفِ ٱلارْضِ
To You be all praise as much as the weight of sea water.	وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ اوْزَانِ مِيَاهِ ٱلْبِحَارِ
To You be all praise as many as leaves of trees.	وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ اوْرَاقِ ٱلاشْجَارِ
To You be all praise as many as all that which exists on the earth surface.	وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ مَا عَلَىٰ وَجْهِ ٱلارْضِ
To You be all praise as much as that which has been counted by Your Book.	وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ مَا احْصَىٰ كِتَابُكَ
To You be all praise as much as all that which is comprehended by Your Knowledge.	وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ مَا احَاطَ بِهِ عِلْمُكَ
To You be all praise as many as the numbers of men, jinn,	وَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ ٱلإِنْسِ وَٱلْجِنِّ
pests, birds, animals, and beasts	وَٱلْهَوَامِّ وَٱلطَّيْرِ وَٱلْبَهَائِمِ وَٱلسِّبَاعِ
praise that is abundant, pleasant,	حَمْداً كَثِيراً طَيِّباً
and as blessed as You, our Lord, please and gratify	مُبَارَكاً فِيهِ كَمَا تُحِبُّ رَبَّنَا وَتَرْضَىٰ
so much so that it befits the majesty of Your Face and the dignity of Your splendor.	وَكَمَا يَنْبَغِي لِكَرَمِ وَجْهِكَ وَعِزِّ جَلاَلِكَ
Then, repeat the following statements ten times each:
There is no god save Allah; One and Only and having no partner. To Him is the Kingdom and to Him is (all) praise.	لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ ٱللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ ٱلْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ ٱلْحَمْدُ
He is the Knower of subtleties, the Aware.	وَهُوَ ٱللَّطِيفُ ٱلْخَبِيرُ
There is no god save Allah; One and Only and having no partner. To Him is the Kingdom and to Him is (all) praise.	لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ ٱلْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ ٱلْحَمْدُ
He gives life and causes to die and causes to die and gives life, while He is ever-living and never dies. In His Hand is the entire goodness and He has power over all things.	يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ وَيُمِيتُ وَيُحْيِي وَهُوَحَيٌّ لاَ يَمُوتُ بِيَدِهِ ٱلْخَيْرُ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
I pray the forgiveness of Allah; there is no god save Him, the Ever-living, the Self-subsistent, and I repent to Him.	اسْتَغْفِرُ ٱللَّهَ ٱلَّذِي لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ ٱلْحَيُّ ٱلْقَيُّومُ وَاتُوبُ إِلَيْه
O Allah, O Allah!	يَا ٱللَّهُ يَا ٱللَّهُ
O All-beneficent, O All-beneficent!	يَا رَحْمٰنُ يَا رَحْمٰنُ
O All-merciful, O All-merciful!	يَا رَحِيمُ يَا رَحِيمُ
O Fashioner of the heavens and the earth!	يَا بَدِيعَ ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ وَٱلارْضِ

O Lord of Majesty and Dignity!	يَا ذَا ٱلْجَلاَلِ وَٱلإِكْرَامِ
O All-compassionate! O Grantor (of graces)!	يَا حَنَّانُ يَا مَنَّانُ
O Ever-living! O Self-Subsistent!	يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ
O Ever-living! There is no god save You!	يَا حَيُّ لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ انْتَ
O Allah! O He save Whom there is no god!	يَا ٱللَّهُ يَا لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ انْتَ
In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.	بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
O Allah, bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.	اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
O Allah, do to me that which You are worthy to do.	اللَّهُمَّ ٱفْعَلْ بِي مَا انْتَ اهْلُهُ
(please do) Respond, respond.	آمِينَ آمِينَ
Then recite Sura al-Ikhlas ten times and then continue the following part:
O Allah, do with me that which You are worthy to do	اللَّهُمَّ ٱصْنَعْ بِي مَا انْتَ اهْلُهُ
but do not do to me that which I deserve,	وَلاَ تَصْنَعْ بِي مَا انَا اهْلُهُ
for You are worthy to be feared and worthy to forgive,	فَإِنَّكَ اهْلُ ٱلتَّقْوَىٰ وَاهْلُ ٱلْمَغْفِرَةِ
while I am the one of sins and faults.	وَانَا اهْلُ ٱلذُّنُوبِ وَٱلْخَطَايَا
So, have mercy upon me, O my Lord,	فَٱرْحَمْنِي يَا مَوْلاَيَ
and You are the most merciful of all those who show mercy.	وَانْتَ ارْحَمُ ٱلرَّاحِمِينَ
There is neither power nor might save with Allah.	لاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِٱللَّهِ
I trust in the Ever-living (Lord) Who never dies.	تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَىٰ ٱلْحَيِّ ٱلَّذِي لاَ يَمُوتُ
All praise be to Allah, Who begets no son,	وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي لَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَداً
and has no partner in His dominion	وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ شَرِيكٌ فِي ٱلْمُلْكِ
nor needs He any to protect Him from humiliation	وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ وَلِيٌّ مِنَ ٱلذُّلِّ
yea, magnify Him for His greatness and glory!	وَكَبِّرْهُ تَكْبِيراً
