| O He from whom I hope for every good,
|
يَا مَنْ أَرْجُوهُ لِكُلِّ خَيْرٍ
|
| and from Whose displeasure I seek safety against every evil,
|
وَآمَنُ سَخَطَهُ عِنْدَ كُلِّ شَرٍّ
|
| O He who gives abundantly in return for little,
|
يَا مَنْ يُعْطِي ٱلْكَثِيرَ بِٱلْقَلِيلِ
|
| O He who gives abundantly for that which is trivial,
|
يَا مَنْ يُعْطِي ٱلْكَثِيرَ بِٱلْقَلِيلِ
|
| O He who grants whoever asks Him,
|
يَا مَنْ يُعْطِي مَنْ سَأَلَهُ
|
| and who gives to those who do not ask Him and who do not recognize Him,
|
وَيُعْطِي مَنْ لَمْ يَسْأَلْهُ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَعْرِفْهُ
|
| out of His kindness and mercy.
|
تَحَنُّنًا مِنْهُ وَرَحْمَةً
|
| Grant me, by virtue of my petition to You, all the good of this world,
|
أَعْطِنِي بِمَسْأَلَتِي إِيَّاكَ جَمِيعَ خَيْرِ ٱلدُّنْيَا
|
| and all the good of the Hereafter,
|
وَجَمِيعَ خَيْرِ ٱلْآخِرَةِ
|
| and avert from me, by virtue of my petition to You,
|
وَٱصْرِفْ عَنِّي بِمَسْأَلَتِي إِيَّاكَ
|
| all the evil of this world and the evil of the Hereafter.
|
جَمِيعَ شَرِّ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَشَرِّ ٱلْآخِرَةِ
|
| Indeed, what You give is never diminished,
|
فَإِنَّهُ غَيْرُ مَنْقُوصٍ مَا أَعْطَيْتَ
|
| and increase me from Your grace, O Most Generous.
|
وَزِدْنِي مِنْ فَضْلِكَ يَا كَرِيمُ
|
| O Possessor of Majesty and Honor,
|
يَا ذَا ٱلْجَلَالِ وَٱلْإِكْرَامِ
|
| O Possessor of blessings and munificence,
|
يَا ذَا ٱلنَّعْمَاءِ وَٱلْجُودِ
|
| O Possessor of favor and bounty,
|
يَا ذَا ٱلْمَنِّ وَٱلطَّوْلِ
|
| Forbid my white hair from the Fire.
|
حَرِّمْ شَيْبَتِي عَلَى ٱلنَّارِ
