Al-Buqʿat al-Hārūniyya (Arabic: البقعة الهارونیة) is dar al-imara or the garden of Humayd b. Qahtaba al-Ta'i located in the village of Sanabad. Originally, it was a castle built before the emergence of Islam. Located on the crossroad of Sanabad, Neyshabur, Sarakhs, Tus, and Radakan, the castle provided the safety of the routes to these towns. After the burial of Harun in that place in 193/809, its name was changed to al-Buq'at al-Haruniyya. In 203/818, according to al-Ma'mun's will, Imam al-Rida (a) was buried there near Harun. Today the Holy Shrine of Imam al-Rida (a) is located in the place.
