Al-Razi
Razi or al-Razi may refer to:
- Abu l-Futuh al-Razi (b. 470/1077-8 - d. 552/1157-8 or 556/1160-1) the greatest Shi'a muhaddith in 6th/12th century and the author of Rawd al-jinan.
- Ibn Qiba al-Razi an Imami theologian in early fourth/tenth century.
- Muhammad Taqi Razi Isfahani (d. 1248/1832) the head of the Najafi Isfahani family and the author of the book Hidayat al-Mustarshidin
- Qutb al-Din al-Razi (b. 647/1249 - d. 776/1374) the great Shia scholar in theology, logic and philosophy.
- Ahmad b. Muhammad al-Razi (b. 320/932 - d. 420/1029) Known as Ibn Miskawayh, philosopher, writer, historian, and secretary of the Buyad dynasty.
- 'Abd al-Jalil al-Qazwini al-Razi (b. late 5th/11th century) a scholar in jurisprudence and theology in the 6th/12th century the author of the book al-Naqd.
- 'Ali b. 'Ubayd Allah al-Razi known as Muntajab al-Din al-Razi, a hadith scholar of the 6th/12th century and descendant of Ali b. Babawayh al-Qummi.
- Ali b. Muhammad Khazzaz al-Razi a prominent Shia jurists and narrators in the second half of the 4th century.
- Muhammad b. Zakaria al-Razi (251/865 - d. 313/925) Iranian physician, philosopher and chemist.
