The List of works by al-Shahīd al-Awwal is a collection of works by Muhammad b. Makki (b. 734/1333-4 - d. 786/1384) known as al-Shahīd al-Awwal (the First Martyr) a great Shi'a jurist and Islamic authority in the 8th/14th century. He has written jurisprudential, Usuli, theological, and hadithi books which the most famous one is al-Lum'a al-Dimashqiyya. All his books are collected in a collection titled Musu'i al-shahid al-awwal in 21 volumes containing 19 volumes about his works, one volume about his biography, and one volume including indexes.

Some of his works based on quoting by A'yan al-shi'a and Riyhan al-adab are as follows:

  1. Al-Arba'un hadith is forty hadith about jurisprudential and ethical issues
  2. Al-Alfiyya fi fiqh al-salat al-yawmiyya which is lithographed in Tehran whit commentary of al-Shahid al-Thani titled Al-Maqasid al-'aliyya fi sharh al-alfiyya

  5. Al-Dhikra in jurisprudence
  6. Al-qawa'id wa l-fawa'idin jurisprudence
  7. Al-Lum'a al-Dimashqiyya which is a complete course of jurisprudential discussions in fatwai fiqh method and one of the references of Shi'a religious students in al-Hawza al-'Ilmiyya
  8. Al-Nafliyya fiqhi and concise treatise about salat discussion
  9. Ghayat al-murad fi sharh al-'irshad which is commentary on Sharh al-'Irshad by al-'Allama al-Hilli
