Year 4 BH[1] was the 10th year of Bi'tha (beginning of Prophet Muhammad's mission). Year 4 BH started on Tuesday, August 29, 618 CE and ended on Friday, August 17, 619 CE in the Julian calendar.[2][3]
The Prophet called this year "Am al-Huzn" (Year of Sorrow) after his supportive uncle, Abu Talib (a), and his wife, Lady Khadija (a), passed away.[4]
