This page lists the stages of wikimaking.
Selection, Preparation, and Translation
- Needed Farsi articles are added to in "Needed/Suggested" list of "Entries for translation" board of Trello.
- Farsi articles in the "Needed/Suggested" list, for which the writing procedure is completed, are evaluated according to their priority and their card is moved to "Review" list.
- If the evaluation showed that the article is good enough for translation, the card is moved to "Ready for translation" list; if not, the card is moved to "To be translated later" list. The article's shortcomings should be mentioned in the talk page, hoping them to be corrected later.
- After translation the article is uploaded to the page in WikiShia and the relevant card is moved to "Emergency wiki" list of "Entries" board.
Emergency Wiki
In this stage, the following should be done:
- Adding
{{Editorial box/doc}}with adding priority and quality assessment. - Complete transliteration and/or translation of the article's subject in the beginning.
- The subject should be bold.
- After the subject its Arabic or Persian equivalent should come inside
{{ia}}template, inside parenthesis. - When the subject is a person, his date of birth and death should be mentioned in the first line after his name.
- Linking of the lead section.
- Adding the Gregorian dates for the lead section.
- Finding and replacing ‘ and ’ with '; “ and ” with ".
- Checking the table of contents for possible errors.
- Adding an empty line between paragraphs.
- Correcting the bulleted and numbered lists.
Wiki
- Checking for information or translation errors.
- Linking the words of the whole article.
- Italicization of the names of the books.
- Checking the transliterations.
- Adding all of the Gregorian dates for the whole article.
- Adding images.
- Adding infobox.
- Adding navbox.
- Adding appropriate categories.
- Disambiguation, if needed.
- Establishing appropriate redirects.
- Adding see also.
- Adding external links.
- Adding the "References" section with the following content:
- This material for this article is mainly taken from {{ia|[[:fa:مقاله فارسی|مقاله فارسی]]}} in Farsi WikiShia.
- Summarizing all the above in the editorial box.
Wikicheck
- Checking all of the above.
- Checking the headings for possible improvements.
- Checking for additions in the Farsi article.
