Description
Did you know (DYK) is the project page for the Did you know section on the Main Page of WikiShia.
Aims and objectives
DYK aims to achieve the following five goals:
- To showcase new and improved content.
- To attract audiences and create attraction for more use of the site.
- To display articles containing valuable information.
- To provide interesting and useful information to the audience.
- DYKs should be consistent and compatible with the goals of WikiShia. Of course, DYK's nature requires more tolerance.
DYK rules
To write DYK, you must adhere to a series of rules:
- Each DYK should start with three dots and end with a question mark.
- DYK sentences should not be tied to different propositions. The reader should quickly access the main content.
- The issues mentioned in DYK should be included in the relevant article.
- The first link in DYK should be the entry in which DYK's article is mentioned.
- DYKs should be eloquent, user-friendly and attractive to their readers.
- No notes should be entered in DYK.
- It is better if one of the DYKs on display has a picture. The image is on the right without a frame.
