The 2nd of Ramadan is the second day of the month of Ramadan in the Islamic lunar calendar and the 238th day of the year in the Islamic lunar calendar.

For this day, in addition to the common acts of worship observed on all days of Ramadan, some specific supplications and deeds have also been narrated. Sayyid b. Tawus has narrated more prayers for this day in his book Iqbal al-A'mal.

	Special Acts and Prayers for the 2nd Day of Ramadan
Prayer	It is recommended to pray four rak'as, and in each rak'a, after reciting Sura al-Fatiha, recite Sura al-Qadr (Quran 97) twenty times.
Supplication of the Day	O Allah, on this day, take me closer towards Your pleasure, keep me away from Your anger and punishment, grant me the opportunity to recite Your verses (of the Qur'an), by Your mercy, O the most Merciful. Arabic: اللَّهُمَّ قَرِّبْنِی فِیهِ اِلَی مَرْضَاتِکَ وَ جَنِّبْنِی فِیهِ مِنْ سَخَطِکَ وَ نَقِمَاتِکَ وَ وَفِّقْنِی فِیهِ لِقِرَاءَةِ آیَاتِکَ بِرَحْمَتِکَ یَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِینَ
