For this day, in addition to the common acts of worship observed on all days of Ramadan, some specific supplications and deeds have also been narrated. Sayyid b. Tawus has narrated more prayers for this day in his book Iqbal al-A'mal.

	Special Acts and Prayers for the Ninth Day of Ramadan
Prayer	Six rak'a of prayer between Maghrib and Isha, in each rak'a recite Sura al-Fatiha once and Ayat al-Kursi seven times, and after completing the prayer, recite Salawat 50 times.
Supplication of the Day	O Allah, on this day, grant me a share from Your mercy which is wide, guide me towards Your shining proofs, lead me to Your all-encompassing pleasure, by Your love, O the hope of the desirous.
