List of Letters of Nahj al-balagha refers to the collection of correspondence within Nahj al-balagha authored by Imam Ali (a), primarily addressed to government officials, military commanders, and tax collectors. These letters predominantly concern matters of governance and the proper conduct of officials in their interactions with the public.[1] This section of Nahj al-balagha comprises 79 entries, including 12 testaments, recommendations, and circulars, 2 orders, 1 supplication, 1 covenant, and 63 letters.[2] Notable among these are the Letter of Imam Ali (a) to Imam al-Hasan (a), the Letter of command to Malik al-Ashtar, and the Letter of Imam Ali (a) to Uthman b.
