13th Ramadan in the Islamic lunar calendar is the 249th day of the year.

Descent of the Gospel to Jesus (a) on the night of the thirteenth of Ramadan, according to a narration from Imam al-Sadiq (a).
95 AH - Death of al-Hajjaj al-Thaqafi the ruler of Iraq and Hijaz during the Umayyad period, and a fierce enemy of the Shias. (June 1, 714)
985 AH – Death of Isma'il II, the Safavid king (November 24, 1577)
1328 AH - Demise of Jahangirkhan Qashqa'i, a scholar, philosopher, jurist, and Shia mystic. (September 18, 1910)
1340 AH - Demise of Sayyid Ali Sistani, a Shia jurist and the grandfather of Ayatollah Sistani (May 10, 1922)

For this day, in addition to the common acts of worship observed on all days of Ramadan, some specific supplications and deeds have also been narrated. Sayyid b. Tawus has narrated more prayers for this day in his book Iqbal al-A'mal.

	Special Acts and Prayers for the Thirteenth of Ramadan
Thirteenth Night	Ghusl (Ritual bath) Perform four rak'as of prayer, reciting Sura al-Fatiha once and Sura al-Ikhlas twenty-five times in each rak'a. Perform two rak'as of prayer, reciting Sura al-Fatiha, followed by Sura Ya-Sin, Sura Tabaraka al-Mulk, and Sura al-Ikhlas (Tawhid) in each rak'a
Thirteenth Day	Reciting the Dua al-Mujir during the Ayyam al-Bid (the 13th, 14th, and 15th days) of Ramadan is recommended for seeking forgiveness of sins.
Prayer	It is recommended to perform four rak'a prayer, and in each rak'a, after reciting Sura al-Fatiha, recite Sura al-Tawhid 25 times.
Supplication of the Day	O Allah, on this day, purify me from uncleanliness and dirt, make me patient over events that are decreed, grant me the ability to be pious, and keep company with the good, by Your help, O the beloved of the destitute. Arabic: اللَّهُمَّ طَهِّرْنِی فِیهِ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ وَ الْاَقْذَارِ وَ صَبِّرْنِی فِیهِ عَلَی کَائِنَاتِ الْاَقْذَارِ وَ وَفِّقْنِی فِیهِ لِلتُّقَی وَ صُحْبَةِ الْاَبْرَارِ بِعَوْنِکَ یَا قُرَّةَ عَیْنِ الْمَسَاکِینِ
