Text:Al-Ziyara al-Rajabiyya

Al-Shaykh al-Tusi has also reported the following words from Husayn b. Ruh al-Nawbakhti, the special representative of Imam al-Mahdi (a): “In the month of Rajab, you may visit any of the shrines of the Infallible Imams (a) that are possible for you to visit, and say the following therein:

In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.	بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّ‌حْمَـٰنِ الرَّ‌حِيمِ
All praise be to Allah Who has allowed us to visit the shrine of His Saints in Rajab	الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي اشْهَدَنَا مَشْهَدَ اوْلِيَائِهِ فِي رَجَبٍ
and made obligatory upon us fulfilling our duties towards them.	وَاوْجَبَ عَلَيْنَا مِنْ حَقِّهِمْ مَا قَدْ وَجَبَ
May Allah send blessings to Muhammad, the divinely selected,	وَصَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ ٱلْمُنْتَجَبِ
and upon his Successors—the doors to Him.	وَعَلَىٰ اوْصِيَائِهِ ٱلْحُجُبِ
O Allah, just as You have allowed us to visit their shrines,	اَللَّهُمَّ فَكَمَا اشْهَدْتَنَا مَشْهَدَهُمْ
please do fulfill for us the promises You have made with them,	فَانْجِزْ لَنَا مَوْعِدَهُمْ
include us with them,	وَاوْرِدْنَا مَوْرِدَهُمْ
and include us with those whom shall not be prevented from drinking from the (Divine) Pool	غَيْرَ مُحَلَّئِينَ عَنْ وِرْدٍ
in the abode of eternity and perpetuity.	فِي دَارِ ٱلْمُقَامَةِ وَٱلْخُلْدِ
Peace be upon you all.	وَٱلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ
I have turned my face towards you and directed to you	إِنِّي قَدْ قَصَدْتُكُمْ وَٱعْتَمَدْتُكُمْ
carrying my request and need with me,	بِمَسْالَتِي وَحَاجَتِي
which is the release of my neck from Hellfire	وَهِيَ فَكَاكُ رَقَبَتِي مِنَ ٱلنَّارِ
and the settlement with you in the Abode of Final Settlement	وَٱلْمَقَرُّ مَعَكُمْ فِي دَارِ ٱلْقَرَارِ
with your pious adherents (Shi`ah).	مَعَ شِيعَتِكُمُ ٱلابْرَارِ
Peace be upon you all for that you persevered in patience.	وَٱلسَّلامُ عَلَيْكُمْ بِمَا صَبَرْتُمْ
Now how excellent is the final home!	فَنِعْمَ عُقْبَىٰ ٱلدَّارِ
I hereby beg you and put my hope in you as regards the matters in which you have the right to act	انَا سَائِلُكُمْ وَآمِلُكُمْ فِيمَا إِلَيْكُمُ ٱلتَّفْوِيضُ
and recompense.	وَعَلَيْكُمُ ٱلتَّعْوِيضُ
Truly, through you only are the hopeless restored to good condition,	فَبِكُمْ يُجْبَرُ ٱلْمَهِيضُ
the ailed healed,	وَيُشْفَىٰ ٱلْمَرِيضُ
and that which the wombs absorb and that which they grow.	وَمَا تَزْدَادُ ٱلارْحَامُ وَمَا تَغِيضُ
Verily, I have full faith in your Secret	إنِّي بِسِرِّكُمْ مُؤْمِنٌ
and I am fully submissive to your words;	وَلِقَوْلِكُمْ مُسَلِّمٌ
I thus beg you in the name of Allah	وَعَلَىٰ ٱللَّهِ بِكُمْ مُقْسِمٌ
to make me return having my requests responded,	فِي رَجْعِي بِحَوَائِجِي
met, accepted,	وَقَضَائِهَا وَإِمْضَائِهَا
given success, and settled,	وَإِنْجَاحِهَا وَإِبْرَاحِهَا
and set aright all my needs and all my affairs towards you.	وَبِشُؤُونِي لَدَيْكُمْ وَصَلاحِهَا
Peace be upon you from one who bids you farewell	وَٱلسَّلامُ عَلَيْكُمْ سَلامَ مُوَدِّعٍ
and puts all his needs with you,	وَلَكُمْ حَوَائِجَهُ مُودِعٌ
praying to Allah for another visit to you,	يَسْالُ ٱللَّهَ إِلَيْكُمُ ٱلْمَرْجِعَ
since his hope is never cut off from you.	وَسَعْيُهُ إِلَيْكُمْ غَيْرَ مُنْقَطِعٍ
I also pray Him to make my departure successful	وَانْ يَرْجِعَنِي مِنْ حَضْرَتِكُمْ خَيْرَ مَرْجِعٍ
to a productive place,	إِلَىٰ جَنَابٍ مُمْرِعٍ
a fruitful area,	وَخَفْضٍ مُوَسَّعٍ
comfort, and luxurious up to the befalling of death.	وَدَعَةٍ وَمَهَلٍ إِلَىٰ حِينِ ٱلاجَلِ
I also pray Him for the best destiny and abode in the Eternal Bliss,	وَخَيْرِ مَصِيرٍ وَمَحَلٍّ فِي ٱلنَّعِيمِ ٱلازَلِ
the affluent living,	وَٱلْعَيْشِ ٱلْمُقْتَبَلِ
the perpetual fruit,	وَدَوَامِ ٱلاكُلِ
the drinking from the pure drink,	وَشُرْبِ ٱلرَّحِيقِ وَٱلسَّلْسَلِ
and the divine spring whose drink is refreshing and thirst-quenching that is never bored or fed up.	وَعَلٍّ وَنَهَلٍ لا سَامَ مِنْهُ وَلاَ مَلَلَ
Allah’s mercy, blessings, and salutations be upon you incessantly	وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ وَتَحِيَّاتُهُ عَلَيْكُمْ
until I return to your presence	حَتَّىٰ ٱلْعَوْدِ إِلَىٰ حَضْرَتِكُمْ
and win the honor of visiting you again	وَٱلْفَوْزِ فِي كَرَّتِكُمْ
and the honor of being resurrected with your group.	وَٱلْحَشْرِ فِي زُمْرَتِكُمْ
Allah’s mercy, blessings, benedictions, and salutations be upon you,	وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَصَلَوَاتُهُ وَتَحِيَّاتُهُ
for Allah alone is Sufficient for us! Most Excellent is He in Whom we trust!	وَهُوَ حَسْبُنَا وَنِعْمَ ٱلْوَكِيلُ
