A Letter For You

From wikishia

"A Letter for You" is the famous title for a letter Ayatollah Khamene'i, the supreme leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, sent out addressing all the youths of Europe and North America in February 2015. This letter was sent out after a new wave of Islamophobia was made in the West following terrorist actions of Takfiri groups such as ISIS and especially after the attack of the members of ISIS to the office of Charlie Hebdo magazine in France which had earlier published caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad (s). In his message, Ayatollah Khamenei raised some questions and points regarding the critique and analysis of Islamophobic activities of western politicians, reminded of the background of western governments in violence, racism, colonialism, religious wars, and unprecedented massacres during World War I and World War II and asked the youth of Europe and North America to know Islam from its original sources, i.e. the Qur'an and the life of the Prophet Muhammad (s) and avoid prejudice about Islam.

This message was widely spread in social networks in different languages on the internet with the hashtag "letter4you":
