Saʿīda (Arabic: سعیدة) was among the virtue women, and a female servant of Imam al-Sadiq (a) who was later freed by him (a). She had an honorable position in the eyes of Imam (a).[1] According to Sayyid Muhsin al-Amin, she might be the same Sa'ida, the companion of Imam al-Kazim (a).[2] Mamaqani considered her a Twelver Shi'a.[3] Al-Kashshi narrated a hadith from Imam al-Rida (a) praising her.[4]
In Shi'a books of rijal, she is mentioned among transmitters of hadith.[5] She learned hadith from Imam al-Sadiq (a).[6]
