Based on what is mentioned in al-Shaykh al-Tusi's Misbah al-mutahajjid, the performer fasts the three days of Rajab 13th, 14th, and 15th; then, he performs ghusl at about midday on the 15th and then performs zuhr and 'asr prayers and performs their ruku' and sujud in a very good manner. He should perform the prayers in an isolated place where nothing makes him busy with and no one speaks to him. After he performs the prayers, he should face toward Qibla and,

Allah the Highest, the Great has spoken the truth, there is no god but He, the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting, Grand, Glorious, the Beneficent, the Merciful the Forbearing, the Generous. There is none like Him. He is all-Hearing, All Seeing, AII-Knowing, All-aware. Allah stands witness that there is no god but He and (so do) the angels and those possessed of knowledge. He stands firm a justice. There is no god but He, the Mighty, the Wise. And His honored Messengers preached and stand as one of the witnesses for this. صَدَقَ اللَّهُ الْعَظِیمُ الَّذِی لاإِلهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَی الْقَیومُ ذُو الْجَلالِ وَ الْإِکرامِ الرَّحْمنُ الرَّحِیمُ الْحَلِیمُ الْکرِیمُ الَّذِی لَیسَ کمِثْلِهِ شَیءٌ وَ هُوَ السَّمِیعُ الْعَلِیمُ الْبَصِیرُ الْخَبِیرُ شَهِدَ اللَّهُ أَنَّهُ لاإِلهَ إِلَّا هُوَ وَ الْمَلائِکةُ وَ أُولُوا الْعِلْمِ قائِماً بِالْقِسْطِ لاإِلهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْعَزِیزُ الْحَکیمُ وَ بَلَّغَتْ رُسُلُهُ الْکرَامُ وَ أَنَا عَلَی ذَلِک مِنَ الشَّاهِدِینَ
Allah all praise is for you, all esteem is for you, only You prevail upon everything. Bounty is from you. All Greatness and all Dominance is for You, For You is all beauty, only You oblige and for You is all glorification. Holiness and recitation of tahlil (La ilah illa Allah) are only for you. All praise of greatness is for you. For you is what is seen and for you is what is not seen. For you is what is above the high Heavens and for You is what is underneath the abyss. The lowly earths are for you and for you is the Hereafter and the world. And for you is what you are pleased with by the praise (of others) and thanksgiving and bounties. O' Allah! Bestow Your blessing on Jabra'il (Gabreal), the trustworthy on your revelations and the powerful in fulfilling your orders, obeyed in the heavens and sacred places, carrying Your words, supporter of Your Prophets, punisher of Your enemies. اللَّهُمَّ لَک الْحَمْدُ وَ لَک الْمَجْدُ وَ لَک الْعِزُّ وَ لَک الْفَخْرُ وَ لَک الْقَهْرُ وَ لَک النِّعْمَةُ وَ لَک الْعَظَمَةُ وَ لَک الرَّحْمَةُ وَ لَک الْمَهَابَةُ وَ لَک السُّلْطَانُ وَ لَک الْبَهَاءُ وَ لَک الِامْتِنَانُ وَ لَک التَّسْبِیحُ وَ لَک التَّقْدِیسُ وَ لَک التَّهْلِیلُ وَ لَک التَّکبِیرُ وَ لَک مَا یرَی وَ لَک مَا لایرَی وَ لَک مَا فَوْقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ الْعُلَی وَ لَک ما تَحْتَ الثَّری وَ لَک الْأَرَضُونَ السُّفْلَی وَ لَک الْآخِرَةُ وَ الْأُولَی وَ لَک مَا تَرْضَی بِهِ مِنَ الثَّنَاءِ وَ الْحَمْدِ وَ الشُّکرِ وَ النَّعْمَاءِ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَی جَبْرَئِیلَ أَمِینِک عَلَی وَحْیک وَ الْقَوِی عَلَی أَمْرِک وَ الْمُطَاعِ فِی سَمَاوَاتِک وَ مَحَالِّ کرَامَاتِک الْمُتَحَمِّلِ لِکلِمَاتِک النَّاصِرِ لِأَنْبِیائِک الْمُدَمِّرِ لِأَعْدَائِک
O' Allah! Bestow your blessing on Mika'il (Michael)-angel of Your mercy and Created for kindness and seeker of pardon for and supporter of the obedient people. O' Allah! Bestow your blessings on Israfil, the holder of Your Heavenly Throne ('arsh) the blower of the trumpet, awaiting Your order, cautious and tender out of Your fear. O' Allah! Bestow Your blessings on the Holy carriers of Your Heavenly Throne and Your holy noble and virtuous errand carriers of You and Your angels the honored recorders (of deeds) and on the angels in charge of the Paradise and on the angels in charge of Hell and on the angel of death and his assistants. O' Lord of Majesty and Grace! O' Allah! Bestow your blessings on our father Adam Your novel creation whom You did honor with the prostration of Your angels and make Your Paradise lawful to Him. O' Allah! Bestow your blessing on our mother Eve-purified from uncleanliness, free from impurities distinguished among mankind and moving about in the godly atmosphere. اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَی مِیکائِیلَ مَلَک رَحْمَتِک وَ الْمَخْلُوقِ لِرَأْفَتِک وَ الْمُسْتَغْفِرِ الْمُعِینِ لِأَهْلِ طَاعَتِک اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَی إِسْرَافِیلَ حَامِلِ عَرْشِک وَ صَاحِبِ الصُّورِ الْمُنْتَظِرِ لِأَمْرِک الْوَجِلِ الْمُشْفِقِ مِنْ خِیفَتِک اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَی حَمَلَةِ الْعَرْشِ الطَّاهِرِینَ وَ عَلَی السَّفَرَةِ الْکرَامِ الْبَرَرَةِ الطَّیبِینَ وَ عَلَی مَلَائِکتِک الْکرَامِ الْکاتِبِینَ وَ عَلَی مَلَائِکةِ الْجِنَانِ وَ خَزَنَةِ النِّیرَانِ وَ مَلَک الْمَوْتِ وَ الْأَعْوَانِ یا ذَا الْجَلالِ وَ الْإِکرامِ* اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَی أَبِینَا آدَمَ بَدِیعِ فِطْرَتِک الَّذِی کرَّمْتَهُ بِسُجُودِ مَلَائِکتِک وَ أَبَحْتَهُ جَنَّتَک اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَی أُمِّنَا حَوَّاءَ الْمُطَهَّرَةِ مِنَ الرِّجْسِ الْمُصَفَّاةِ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ الْمُفَضَّلَةِ مِنَ الْإِنْسِ الْمُتَرَدِّدَةِ بَینَ مَحَالِّ الْقُدْسِ
O' Allah! Bless Habil (Abel) and Shayth (Seth) and Idris (Enoch) and Nuh (Noah) and Hud and Salih and Ibrahim (Abraham) and Ishaq (Isaac) and Ya'qub (Jacob) and Yusuf (Joseph) and al-Asbat (sons of Ya'qub) and Lut (Lot) and Shua'yb and Ayyub (Jacob) and Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron) and Yusha' (Joshua) and Misha and Khidr and Dhu l-Qarnayn and Yunus (Jonah) and Ilyas (Elias) and al-Yasa' (Elisha) and Dhu l-Kifl and Talut (Saul) and Dawud (David) and Sulayman (Solomon) and Zakariyya (Zechariah) and Sha'ya (Isaiah) and Yahya (John) and Turakh and Matta (Matthew) and Irmiya (Jeremiah) and Hayquq (Habakkuk) and Daniyal (Daniel) and 'Uzayr and 'Isa (Jesus) and Sham'un and Jirjis (George) and Hawariyyun (Apostels) and the followers [of the prophets] and Khalid and Hanzala and Luqman. O' Allah! Bless Muhammad and his progeny and bestow Your mercy and favor on them in the manner you did bestow your blessings, mercy, and favor on Ibrahim and his progeny, verily you are Praiseworthy and Exalted. O' Allah bestow blessings on the vicegerents, the virtuous, the martyrs and the Imams of guidance. O' Allah! Bestow your blessings on your conspicuous adherents, saints, the traveling worshippers, devotees, the sincere, and the abstemious, and those who are Painstaking in seeking after the truth and Muhammad and his Ahl al-Bayt, distinguished with Your best blessings and Your greatest honour and convey to his soul and body my greetings and salutations and increase him in the nobility and honour till You grant him the highest rank among the high personages from among the prophets, messengers and the people of merits enjoying nearness to you. O' Allah! And bless Your angels, prophets, messengers, and people obedient to You whom I have mentioned by names and those whom I have not mentioned by their names and convey blessings from me to them (their bodies) and to their souls and make them my brothers before You make them my helpers in invoking You. اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَی هَابِیلَ وَ شَیثٍ وَ إِدْرِیسَ وَ نُوحٍ وَ هُودٍ وَ صَالِحٍ وَ إِبْرَاهِیمَ وَ إِسْمَاعِیلَ وَ إِسْحَاقَ وَ یعْقُوبَ وَ یوسُفَ وَ الْأَسْبَاطِ وَ لُوطٍ وَ شُعَیبٍ وَ أَیوبَ وَ مُوسَی وَ هَارُونَ وَ یوشَعَ وَ مِیشَا وَ الْخِضْرِ وَ ذِی الْقَرْنَینِ وَ یونُسَ وَ إِلْیاسَ وَ الْیسَعِ وَ ذِی الْکفْلِ وَ طَالُوتَ وَ دَاوُدَ وَ سُلَیمَانَ وَ زَکرِیا وَ شَعْیا وَ یحْیی وَ تُورَخَ وَ مَتَّی وَ إِرْمِیا وَ حَیقُوقَ وَ دَانِیالَ وَ عُزَیرٍ وَ عِیسَی وَ شَمْعُونَ وَ جِرْجِیسَ وَ الْحَوَارِیینَ وَ الْأَتْبَاعِ وَ خَالِدٍ وَ حَنْظَلَةَ وَ لُقْمَانَ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ ارْحَمْ مُحَمَّداً وَ آلَ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ بَارِک عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ کمَا صَلَّیتَ وَ رَحِمْتَ [وَ تَرَحَّمْتَ] وَ بَارَکتَ عَلَی إِبْرَاهِیمَ وَ آلِ إِبْرَاهِیمَ إِنَّک حَمِیدٌ مَجِیدٌ اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَی الْأَوْصِیاءِ وَ السُّعَدَاءِ وَ الشُّهَدَاءِ وَ أَئِمَّةِ الْهُدَی اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَی الْأَبْدَالِ وَ الْأَوْتَادِ وَ السُّیاحِ وَ الْعُبَّادِ وَ الْمُخْلِصِینَ وَ الزُّهَّادِ وَ أَهْلِ الْجِدِّ وَ الِاجْتِهَادِ وَ اخْصُصْ مُحَمَّداً وَ أَهْلَ بَیتِهِ بِأَفْضَلِ صَلَوَاتِک وَ أَجْزَلِ کرَامَاتِک وَ بَلِّغْ رُوحَهُ وَ جَسَدَهُ مِنِّی تَحِیةً وَ سَلاماً وَ زِدْهُ فَضْلًا وَ شَرَفاً وَ کرَماً حَتَّی تُبَلِّغَهُ أَعْلَی دَرَجَاتِ أَهْلِ الشَّرَفِ مِنَ النَّبِیینَ وَ الْمُرْسَلِینَ وَ الْأَفَاضِلِ الْمُقَرَّبِینَ اللَّهُمَّ وَ صَلِّ عَلَی مَنْ سَمَّیتُ وَ مَنْ لَمْ أُسَمِّ مِنْ مَلَائِکتِک وَ أَنْبِیائِک وَ رُسُلِک وَ أَهْلِ طَاعَتِک وَ أَوْصِلْ صَلَوَاتِی إِلَیهِمْ وَ إِلَی أَرْوَاحِهِمْ وَ اجْعَلْهُمْ إِخْوَانِی فِیک وَ أَعْوَانِی عَلَی دُعَائِک
O' Allah! I seek intercession in Your name with You and in the name of Your generosity, for Your generosity and in the name of Your favors for Your favors and in the name of Your mercy for Your mercy, and to You in the name of the people obedient to You. And O' Allah! I ask you in the name of that through which any one of them beseeched you for their noble requests having been never turned down, and through which they invoked you for a request which was granted without any disappointment. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّی أَسْتَشْفِعُ بِک إِلَیک وَ بِکرَمِک إِلَی کرَمِک وَ بِجُودِک إِلَی جُودِک وَ بِرَحْمَتِک إِلَی رَحْمَتِک وَ بِأَهْلِ طَاعَتِک إِلَیک وَ أَسْأَلُک اللَّهُمَّ بِکلِّ مَا سَأَلَک بِهِ أَحَدٌ مِنْهُمْ مِنْ مَسْأَلَةٍ شَرِیفَةٍ غَیرِ مَرْدُودَةٍ وَ بِمَا دَعَوْک بِهِ مِنْ دَعْوَةٍ مُجَابَةٍ غَیرِ مُخَیبَةٍ
O' Allah! O' the Beneficent! O' the Merciful! O' the Forbearing! O' the Generous! O' the Exalted! O' the Glorious! O' the Bestower! O' the Elegant! O' the Guardian! O' the Trustee! O' the Forgiving! O' the Protector! O' the All-Aware, O' the Illuminator, O' the Destroyer, O' the Withholder! O' who alters! O' the Transferer! O' the Great! O' the Powerful! O' the All-seeing! O' the Appreciator! O' the Clean, O' the Holy! O' the Pure, the Dominant! O' the Manifest! O' the Hidden! O' the concealer (of the blemishes) O' the Guardian! O' the Powerful! O' the Preserver! O' the Grand! O' the Near! O' the Most loving! O the Praise-worthy! O' the High! O' the Originator! O' the Witness! O' the Benefactor! O' the one who assembles! O' the Bestower (of bounties)! O' the Bountiful! O' the Seizer! O' the Magnanimous! O' the Guide! O' the Appointner of Messenger! O' the Bestower! O' the Unaccessible! O' the Repealer' O' the Elevator! O' the Everlasting! O' the Protector! O' the Creator! O' the Bestower! O' the Forgiving! O' the Opener! O' the Diffuser of the Wind! O' the Peace! O' in whose hand lie all the Keys! O' the Beneficial! O' Tender! O' the Affectionate! O' the Sufficient! O' the Healer! O' the Bestower of health! O' the Requiter! O' the Fulfiller! O' the True Witness! O' the Mighty! O' the Dominant! O' the Majestic! O' Peace! (Spotless) O' who saves from the darkness of ignorance! O' The One! O' the Independent! O' the Illuminator! O' the Administrator! O' the Matchless! O' the Solitary! O' the Holiest! O' the Succourer! O' the Friendly! O' the Reviver! O' the Heir! O' the All-Knowing! O' the Best Judge, O' the Beginning! O' the High! O' the Fashioner! O' who accepts! O' the Friend! O' the Self-Subsisting! O' the Eternal! O' the All-Knowing! O' the Wise! O' the Generous! O' the Creator! O' the Best! O' the Pleasing! O' the Justice! O' the Judge! O' the Rewarder! O' the Kind! O' the Munificent! O' the All-hearing! O' the Innovator! O' the Shelter! O' the Succourer! O' the Diffuser! O' the Forgiving! O' the Everlasting! O' who makes things easy! O' who removes obstacles! O' Who causes death! O' who instils life! O' the Bestower of profits! O' the Sustainer! O' the Powerful! O' the Means of Causes! O' the Redresser! O' who makes (people) wealthy! O' the Guardian! O' the Creator! O' the Protector! O' the Peerless! O' the Omnipresent! O' the All Prevalent! O' the Preserver! O' the Severe (in Wrath)! O' the Redresser of grievances! O' the visiting! O' the Withdrawer! O' the High who Ascended still higher and was in the farthest point O' Who drew near and still nearer and then when farthest and became inaccessible and knows the secret and the hidden. O' Who foretells! And accordingly fixes their measures. O' for whom it is easy to solve the difficult problem. O' Who is Powerful over what He wills. O' Who makes the breezes blow! O' the Cleaver of dawn! O' the Reviver of the spirits! O' the Lord of generosity and clemency! O' the Restorer of the lost! O' Who gives new life to the dead! O' the Gatherer of the scattered! O' Who grants plentiful of sustenance to whom He wishes! O' Who does vI/hat He wishes and how He wishes! O' Lord of Majesty and Grace! O' the Ever-Living! O' the Self-Subsisting! O' the Living when there was no life. O' the Ever-Living, O' the Ouickener of the dead! O' the Ever-Living There is no god but You, Originator of the heavens and of the earth. یا اللَّهُ یا رَحْمَانُ یا رَحِیمُ یا حَلِیمُ یا کرِیمُ یا عَظِیمُ یا جَلِیلُ یا مُنِیلُ یا جَمِیلُ یا کفِیلُ یا وَکیلُ یا مُقِیلُ یا مُجِیرُ یا خَبِیرُ یا مُنِیرُ یا مُبِیرُ یا مَنِیعُ یا مُدِیلُ یا مُحِیلُ یا کبِیرُ یا قَدِیرُ یا بَصِیرُ یا شَکورُ یا بَرُّ یا طُهْرُ یا طَاهِرُ یا قَاهِرُ یا ظَاهِرُ یا بَاطِنُ یا سَاتِرُ یا مُحِیطُ یا مُقْتَدِرُ یا حَفِیظُ یا مُتَجَبِّرُ یا قَرِیبُ یا وَدُودُ یا حَمِیدُ یا مَجِیدُ یا مُبْدِئُ یا مُعِیدُ یا شَهِیدُ یا مُحْسِنُ یا مُجْمِلُ یا مُنْعِمُ یا مُفْضِلُ یا قَابِضُ یا بَاسِطُ یا هَادِی یا مُرْسِلُ یا مُرْشِدُ یا مُسَدِّدُ یا مُعْطِی یا مَانِعُ یا دَافِعُ یا رَافِعُ یا بَاقِی یا وَاقِی یا خَلَّاقُ یا وَهَّابُ یا تَوَّابُ یا فَتَّاحُ یا نَفَّاحُ یا مُرْتَاحُ یا مَنْ بِیدِهِ کلُّ مِفْتَاحٍ یا نَفَّاعُ یا رَءُوفُ یا عَطُوفُ یا کافِی یا شَافِی یا مُعَافِی یا مُکافِی یا وَفِی یا مُهَیمِنُ یا عَزِیزُ یا جَبَّارُ یا مُتَکبِّرُ یا سَلَامُ یا مُؤْمِنُ یا أَحَدُ یا صَمَدُ یا نُورُ یا مُدَبِّرُ یا فَرْدُ یا وِتْرُ یا قُدُّوسُ یا نَاصِرُ یا مُونِسُ یا بَاعِثُ یا وَارِثُ یا عَالِمُ یا حَاکمُ یا بَادِی یا مُتَعَالِی یا مُصَوِّرُ یا مُسَلِّمُ یا مُتَحَبِّبُ یا قَائِمُ یا دَائِمُ یا عَلِیمُ یا حَکیمُ یا جَوَادُ یا بَارِئُ یا بَارُّ یا سَارُّ یا عَدْلُ یا فَاصِلُ یا دَیانُ یا حَنَّانُ یا مَنَّانُ یا سَمِیعُ یا بَدِیعُ یا خَفِیرُ یا مُعِینُ [مُغَیرُ] یا نَاشِرُ یا غَافِرُ یا قَدِیمُ یا مُسَهِّلُ یا مُیسِّرُ یا مُمِیتُ یا مُحْیی یا نَافِعُ یا رَازِقُ یا مُقْتَدِرُ [مُقَدِّرُ] یا مُسَبِّبُ یا مُغِیثُ یا مُغْنِی یا مُقْنِی یا خَالِقُ یا رَاصِدُ یا وَاحِدُ یا حَاضِرُ یا جَابِرُ یا حَافِظُ یا شَدِیدُ یا غِیاثُ یا عَائِدُ یا قَابِضُ یا مَنْ عَلَا فَاسْتَعْلَی فَکانَ بِالْمَنْظَرِ الْأَعْلَی یا مَنْ قَرُبَ فَدَنَا وَ بَعُدَ فَنَأَی وَ عَلِمَ السِّرَّ وَ أَخْفَی یا مَنْ إِلَیهِ التَّدْبِیرُ وَ لَهُ الْمَقَادِیرُ وَ یا مَنِ الْعَسِیرُ عَلَیهِ سَهْلٌ یسِیرٌ یا مَنْ هُوَ عَلَی مَا یشَاءُ قَدِیرٌ یا مُرْسِلَ الرِّیاحِ یا فَالِقَ الْإِصْبَاحِ یا بَاعِثَ الْأَرْوَاحِ یا ذَا الْجُودِ وَ السَّمَاحِ یا رَادَّ مَا قَدْ فَاتَ یا نَاشِرَ الْأَمْوَاتِ یا جَامِعَ الشَّتَاتِ یا رَازِقَ مَنْ یشَاءُ بِغَیرِ حِسَابٍ وَ یا فَاعِلَ مَا یشَاءُ کیفَ یشَاءُ وَ یا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَ الْإِکرَامِ یا حَی یا قَیومُ یا حَیاً حِینَ لاحَی یا حَی یا مُحْیی الْمَوْتَی یا حَی لاإِلهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ بَدِیعُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ
O' my God and my Master! Bestow your blessings on Muhammad and his progeny and bestow Your mercy on Muhammad and his Progeny and bless Muhammad and his Progeny with Your favors in the manner you did bestow your blessings on Ibrahim and his progeny and blessed them with your mercy and Your favour. Verily. You are praiseworthy and grand. And have mercy on my disgrace, indigence, poverty, loneliness, and seclusion, my humiliation before you, my confidence in you my entreaty to you. I invoke with an invocation of the humiliated, disgraced, depressed, frightened, helpless, lowly, unimportant, hungry, and poor seeking Your protection, helpless confessing his sin and hoping to be forgiven, whose confidence led his invocation to acceptance before his Lord while he was discarded by those who loved him and his agony was great. My invocation is with a burning heart, inflicted by miseries, struck with weakness, disgrace and helplessness; I am worthless before you seeking your protection. O' Allah! I ask you for you are the sovereign and happen what you will and you are powerful over everything. And I beseech you in the name of this sacred month and in the name of the Sacred House (Ka'ba) and the Sacred Land (al-Haram al-Makki) and the Rukn and the Maqam and the grand Signs and for the sake of Your Prophet Muhammad (s) یا إِلَهِی وَ سَیدِی صَلِّ عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ ارْحَمْ مُحَمَّداً وَ آلَ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ بَارِک عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ کمَا صَلَّیتَ وَ بَارَکتَ وَ رَحِمْتَ [تَرَحَّمْتَ] عَلَی إِبْرَاهِیمَ وَ آلِ إِبْرَاهِیمَ إِنَّک حَمِیدٌ مَجِیدٌ وَ ارْحَمْ ذُلِّی وَ فَاقَتِی وَ فَقْرِی وَ انْفِرَادِی وَ وَحْدَتِی وَ خُضُوعِی بَینَ یدَیک وَ اعْتِمَادِی عَلَیک وَ تَضَرُّعِی إِلَیک أَدْعُوک دُعَاءَ الْخَاضِعِ الذَّلِیلِ الْخَاشِعِ الْخَائِفِ الْمُشْفِقِ الْبَائِسِ الْمَهِینِ الْحَقِیرِ الْجَائِعِ الْفَقِیرِ الْعَائِذِ الْمُسْتَجِیرِ الْمُقِرِّ بِذَنْبِهِ الْمُسْتَغْفِرِ مِنْهُ الْمُسْتَکینِ لِرَبِّهِ دُعَاءَ مَنْ أَسْلَمَتْهُ ثِقَتُهُ [نَفْسُهُ] وَ رَفَضَتْهُ أَحِبَّتُهُ وَ عَظُمَتْ فَجِیعَتُهُ دُعَاءَ حَرِقٍ حَزِینٍ ضَعِیفٍ مَهِینٍ بَائِسٍ مُسْتَکینٍ بِک مُسْتَجِیرٍ اللَّهُمَّ وَ أَسْأَلُک بِأَنَّک مَلِیک وَ أَنَّک مَا تَشَاءُ مِنْ أَمْرٍ یکونُ وَ أَنَّک عَلَی مَا تَشَاءُ قَدِیرٌ وَ أَسْأَلُک بِحُرْمَةِ هَذَا الشَّهْرِ الْحَرَامِ وَ الْبَیتِ الْحَرَامِ وَ الْبَلَدِ الْحَرَامِ وَ الرُّکنِ وَ الْمَقَامِ وَ الْمَشَاعِرِ الْعِظَامِ وَ بِحَقِّ نَبِیک مُحَمَّدٍ عَلَیهِ وَ آلِهِ السَّلَامُ
O' Who blessed Adam with Shayth (Sheth) and Ibrahim (Abraham) with Isma'il (Ishmael) and Ishaq (Isaac) and who restored Yusuf (Joseph) to Ya'qub (Jacob) and who removed the miseries of Ayyub (Job) after You did try him. O' Who restored Musa (Moses) to his mother! O' the bestower of increasing knowledge to Khidr, O' Who blessed Dawud (David) with Sulayman (Solomon)! and Zakariyya (Zechariah) with Yahya (John) and Maryam (Mary) with 'Isa (Jesus)! O' who protected the daughter of Shuayb! O' who looked after the son of the mother of Musa! I beseech You to bestow Your blessings, on Muhammad and his progeny and to forgive all my sins and protect me from Your chastisement and render Your pleasure implicit for me as also Your trust. Your benevolence, Your forgiveness and Your Paradise. And I beseech You to remove from me all such links that are between me and those who annoy me and request You to open for me every door and lighten every hardship and make every difficulty easy and save me against every evil tongue and hold back from me every rebellious person and turn upside down every enemy of mine and every jealous of me and withhold every oppressor from me and be You sufficient for me against every barrier that comes between me and my desires and tries to turn me away from obedience to You or diverts me from my devotion to You. O' Who controlled the rebellious genies and punished the rebellious, humiliated the conceited and dispelled the devices of the powerful against the weak. I ask You in the name of Your power on whatever You will and the ease for whatever you will and howsoever You will, to fulfill my desires by Your will. یا مَنْ وَهَبَ لِآدَمَ شَیثاً وَ لِإِبْرَاهِیمَ إِسْمَاعِیلَ وَ إِسْحَاقَ وَ یا مَنْ رَدَّ یوسُفَ عَلَی یعْقُوبَ وَ یا مَنْ کشَفَ بَعْدَ الْبَلَاءِ ضُرَّ أَیوبَ یا رَادَّ مُوسَی عَلَی أُمِّهِ وَ زَائِدَ الْخِضْرِ فِی عِلْمِهِ وَ یا مَنْ وَهَبَ لِدَاوُدَ سُلَیمَانَ وَ لِزَکرِیا یحْیی وَ لِمَرْیمَ عِیسَی یا حَافِظَ بِنْتِ شُعَیبٍ وَ یا کافِلَ وَلَدِ أُمِّ مُوسَی [عَنْ وَالِدَتِهِ] أَسْأَلُک أَنْ تُصَلِّی عَلَی مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ أَنْ تَغْفِرَ لِی ذُنُوبِی کلَّهَا وَ تُجِیرَنِی مِنْ عَذَابِک وَ تُوجِبَ لِی رِضْوَانَک وَ أَمَانَک وَ إِحْسَانَک وَ غُفْرَانَک وَ جِنَانَک وَ أَسْأَلُک أَنْ تَفُک عَنِّی کلَّ حَلْقَةٍ بَینِی وَ بَینَ مَنْ یؤْذِینِی وَ تَفْتَحَ لِی کلَّ بَابٍ وَ تُلَینَ لِی کلَّ صَعْبٍ وَ تُسَهِّلَ لِی کلَّ عَسِیرٍ وَ تُخْرِسَ عَنِّی کلَّ نَاطِقٍ بِشَرٍّ وَ تَکفَّ عَنِّی کلَّ بَاغٍ وَ تَکبِتَ [عَنِّی] کلَّ عَدُوٍّ لِی وَ حَاسِدٍ وَ تَمْنَعَ مِنِّی کلَّ ظَالِمٍ وَ تَکفِینِی کلَّ عَائِقٍ یحُولُ بَینِی وَ بَینَ حَاجَتِی وَ یحَاوِلُ أَنْ یفَرِّقَ بَینِی وَ بَینَ طَاعَتِک وَ یثَبِّطَنِی عَنْ عِبَادَتِک یا مَنْ أَلْجَمَ الْجِنَّ الْمُتَمَرِّدِینَ وَ قَهَرَ عُتَاةَ الشَّیاطِینِ وَ أَذَلَّ رِقَابَ الْمُتَجَبِّرِینَ وَ رَدَّ کیدَ الْمُتَسَلِّطِینَ عَنِ الْمُسْتَضْعَفِینَ أَسْأَلُک بِقُدْرَتِک عَلَی مَا تَشَاءُ وَ تَسْهِیلِک لِمَا تَشَاءُ کیفَ تَشَاءُ أَنْ تَجْعَلَ قَضَاءَ حَاجَتِی فِیمَا تَشَاء.
Then perform sajda and put the sides of your face on the earth after your forehead, and say:
O' Allah! I prostrate myself before Thee in adoration and put faith in Thee, so take pity on my humiliation, helplessness, struggle against difficulties, near collapse, misery, and broken fortune, O my Lord! اللَّهُمَّ لَک سَجَدْتُ وَ بِک آمَنْتُ فَارْحَمْ ذُلِّی وَ فَاقَتِی وَ اجْتِهَادِی وَ تَضَرُّعِی وَ مَسْکنَتِی وَ فَقْرِی إِلَیک یا رَب.
Try your hardest to shed a tear, even a tiny drop, as it is the sign of acceptance of the supplication.
