Al-ʿUmra al-Rajabīyya (Arabic: العُمْرة الرَّجَبِیّة) is a type of single umrah (al-'umra al-mufrada) performed during the month of Rajab. Performing the umra pilgrimage in Rajab is considered more rewarding and virtuous than performing it in other months, with its reward said to be close to that of performing the hajj pilgrimage.[1]

According to a hadith transmitted from Imam al-Baqir (a) and Imam al-Sadiq (a), performing umrah in the month of Rajab is more virtuous than performing it in other months, including Ramadan.[2] Other hadiths from Imam al-Sadiq (a) and Imam al-Kazim (a) indicate that to receive the reward of umra in Rajab, it is sufficient to perform the ihram ritual during Rajab, while the remaining rituals can be completed in the month of Sha'ban.[3]

According to the fatwas of Shiite authorities, those intending to perform a single umra in Rajab but know they will reach the miqat after Rajab has ended can don the ihram clothes before arriving at the miqat. This way, their umra will be considered Rajabiyya.[4]
