Jumāda l-Thānia (Arabic: جُمادی الثانية) also pronounced as Jumada l-Ukhra or Jumada al-Akhira is the sixth month in lunar Hijri calendar.
Name
The word jumada is derived from the root form "جمُد" which means freezing. It's been said that this month is called "Jumada" because the naming for the first time was in winter.
