Buḥrān or Baḥrān (بحران) is an area in Wadi l-Fur', in Hijaz, a region between Mecca and Medina. It is located 24 km south of Medina. According to Ibn Ishaq, Buhran was a mine in Hijaz owned by al-Hajjaj b. 'Alat Bihzi.[1]

Buhran is notable for the Battle of Buhran in the time of Prophet Muhammad (s).[2] The name of this region was also mentioned in the Sariyya of 'Abd Allah b. Jahsh.[3]
