ʿĀliyat al-maḍāmīn supplication (Arabic: دعاي عالية المضامين) is mentioned by Sayyid b. Tawus in Misbah al-za'ir. He introduced it as a supplication to be recited after visiting each of the Infallible Imams (a).[1]
"Aliyat al-Madamin supplication" is a title Shaykh Abbas Qummi gave it in his Mafatih al-jinan and since it contains "excellent messages", it has become famous with this title.[2] It begins with the sentence "O God, I visited this Imam (a), acknowledging his imamate, believing in the obligation of his obedience." It contains messages about the position of Imams (a) and mentions the requests of their visitors.
