Abu l-Rayhanatayn
Abū l-Rayḥānatayn (Arabic: ابو الريحانتين ) which means the father of two Rayhana (basils) is a teknonym for 'Ali b. Abi Talib (a).[1]
Since Prophet Muhammad (s) several times said: "Imam al-Hasan (a) and Imam al-Husayn (a) are my two rayhanas",[2] Imam 'AIi (a) is called Abu l-Rayhanatayn.[3]
