List of Figures Buried in the Holy Shrine of Lady Fatima al-Ma'suma (a) is a collection of the names of figures who are buried in the Holy Shrine of Lady Fatima al-Ma'suma (a). After the demise of Lady Fatima al-Ma'suma (a) in Qom, this city became one of the Shiite centers and her shrine became one of the most important pilgrimage sites in Iran, and it received more attention than before after the officialization of the Shiite religion in Iran. Most of the figures buried in the shrine are scholars, Mujtahids, and Shi'a Religious authorities, but among them, women and Laymen such as Safavid and Qajar kings, writers, and martyrs of the Islamic Republic of Iran are also buried. The names of the buried are listed separately in the five sections of the Sacred Sanctuary (Balasar mosque, Tabataba'i portico, Shahid Mutahari portico, 'Atiq Courtyard, Atabaki courtyard) in the portal of Lady Fatimah al-Masumah (s). Also, the names of scholars buried in the shrine along with their biographies have been collected in two books: Sitarigan-i haram and Simay-i danishwaran.

Balaser Mosque is located above the head of Lady Fatimah al-Masumah (s). This mosque is adjacent to the portico of Shahid Mutahari from the Qibla side, from the left side to the shrine of Lady Masoumeh (s), and from the right side to the A'zam Mosque.

Tabataba'i portico or Tabataba'i mosque is located next to the Balasar mosque and most of it is located in the women's section of the shrine. This portico and the dome above it are named after its creator, Haj Agha Mohammad Tabataba'i.

Atabaki courtyard (New courtyard or Big courtyard) which is named Imam Rida (a) courtyard, is the biggest sahn of the holy shrine of Lady Fatima Ma'suma. This courtyard has seven porches, of which the mirror porch is the most famous and has many rooms.

Kings and sultans buried in the shrine

Four Safavid Kings and two Qajar Kings are buried in the Old courtyard and a Qajar chancellor is buried in one of the women's sections of the shrine of Lady ma'sumah (a)

  • Shah Safi I (d.1642), was the sixth safavid king in Iran and a descendant of Shah Abbas the Great
  • Shah Abbas II (d.1666), son of Shah Safi, the seventh Safavid king in Iran
  • Shah Sultan Husayn Safawi, son of Shah Sulayman, the ninth safavid king
  • Shah Sulayman Safawi (d.1694) son of Shah Abbas II, the eighth Safavid king
  • Muhammad Shah Qajar (d.1848), grandson of Fath 'Ali Shah, son of 'Abbas Mirza and the third king of the Qajar dynasty
  • Fath 'Ali Shah Qajar (d.1834), the second king of Qajar
  • Mirza 'Ali Asghar Atabak (d.1907), known as Amin al-Sultan, the chancellor of the Qajar period
