| In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
|
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
|
| Has there been for man a period of time when he was not anything worthy of mention? (1)
|
هَلْ أَتَیٰ عَلَی الْإِنسَانِ حِینٌ مِّنَ الدَّهْرِ لَمْ یكُن شَیئًا مَّذْكُورًا ﴿۱﴾
|
| Indeed We created man from the drop of a mixed fluid so that We may test him. So We made him endowed with hearing and sight (2)
|
إِنَّا خَلَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ أَمْشَاجٍ نَّبْتَلِیهِ فَجَعَلْنَاهُ سَمِیعًا بَصِیرًا ﴿۲﴾
|
| Indeed We have guided him to the way, be he grateful or ungrateful (3)
|
إِنَّا هَدَینَاهُ السَّبِیلَ إِمَّا شَاكِرًاوَإِمَّا كَفُورًا ﴿۳﴾
|
| Indeed We have prepared for the faithless chains, iron collars, and a blaze (4)
|
إِنَّا أَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَافِرِینَ سَلَاسِلَ وَأَغْلَالًا وَ سَعِیرًا ﴿۴﴾
|
| Indeed the pious will drink from a cup seasoned with Kafour, (5)
|
إِنَّ الْأَبْرَارَ یشْرَبُونَ مِن كَأْسٍ كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا كَافُورًا ﴿۵﴾
|
| a spring where the servants of Allah drink, which they make to gush forth as they please (6)
|
عَینًا یشْرَبُ بِهَا عِبَادُ اللَّـهِ یفَجِّرُونَهَا تَفْجِیرًا ﴿۶﴾
|
| They fulfill their vows and fear a day whose ill will be widespread (7)
|
یوفُونَ بِالنَّذْرِ وَ یخَافُونَ یوْمًا كَانَ شَرُّهُ مُسْتَطِیرًا ﴿۷﴾
|
| They give food, for the love of Him, to the needy, the orphan and the prisoner, (8)
|
وَ یطْعِمُونَ الطَّعَامَ عَلَیٰ حُبِّهِ مِسْكِینًا وَ یتِیمًا وَأَسِیرًا ﴿۸﴾
|
| [saying,] " We feed you only for the sake of Allah. We do not want any reward from you nor any thanks (9)
|
إِنَّمَا نُطْعِمُكُمْ لِوَجْهِ اللَّـهِ لانُرِیدُ مِنكُمْ جَزَاءً وَلَا شُكُورًا ﴿۹﴾
|
| Indeed we fear from our Lord a day, frowning and fateful." (10)
|
إِنَّا نَخَافُ مِن رَّبِّنَا یوْمًا عَبُوسًا قَمْطَرِیرًا ﴿۱۰﴾
|
| So Allah saved them from the ills of that day, and granted them freshness and joy (11)
|
فَوَقَاهُمُ اللَّـهُ شَرَّ ذَٰلِكَ الْیوْمِ وَ لَقَّاهُمْ نَضْرَةً وَ سُرُورًا ﴿۱۱﴾
|
| And He rewarded them for their patience with a garden and [garments of] silk, (12)
|
وَ جَزَاهُم بِمَا صَبَرُوا جَنَّةً وَ حَرِیرًا ﴿۱۲﴾
|
| reclining therein on couches. They will find in it neither any [scorching] sun, nor any [biting] cold (13)
|
مُّتَّكِئِینَ فِیهَا عَلَی الْأَرَائِكِ ۖ لایرَوْنَ فِیهَا شَمْسًا وَ لَا زَمْهَرِیرًا ﴿۱۳﴾
|
| Its shades will be close over them and its clusters] of fruits [will be hanging low (14)
|
وَ دَانِیةً عَلَیهِمْ ظِلَالُهَا وَ ذُلِّلَتْ قُطُوفُهَا تَذْلِیلًا ﴿۱۴﴾
|
| They will be served around with vessels of silver and goblets of crystal (15)
|
وَ یطَافُ عَلَیهِم بِآنِیةٍ مِّن فِضَّةٍ وَأَكْوَابٍ كَانَتْ قَوَارِیرَا ﴿۱۵﴾
|
| crystal of silver] from [which they dispense in a precise measure (16)
|
قَوَارِیرَ مِن فِضَّةٍ قَدَّرُوهَا تَقْدِیرًا ﴿۱۶﴾
|
| They will be served therein with a cup of a drink seasoned with Zanjabil, (17)
|
وَ یُسْقَوْنَ فِیهَا كَأْسًا كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا زَنجَبِیلًا ﴿۱۷﴾
|
| a spring in it, named Salsabil.) (18)
|
عَینًا فِیهَا تُسَمَّیٰ سَلْسَبِیلًا ﴿۱۸﴾
|
| They will be waited upon by immortal youths, whom, when you see them, you will suppose them to be scattered pearls (19)
|
وَ یطُوفُ عَلَیهِمْ وِلْدَانٌ مُّخَلَّدُونَ إِذَا رَأَیتَهُمْ حَسِبْتَهُمْ لُؤْلُؤًا مَّنثُورًا ﴿۱۹﴾
|
| As you look, you will see there bliss and a great kingdom (20)
|
وَإِذَا رَأَیتَ ثَمَّ رَأَیتَ نَعِیمًا وَ مُلْكًا كَبِیرًا ﴿۲۰﴾
|
| Upon them will be cloaks of green silk and brocade and they will be adorned with bracelets of silver. Their Lord will give them to drink a pure drink (21)
|
عَالِیهُمْ ثِیابُ سُندُسٍ خُضْرٌ وَ إِسْتَبْرَقٌ ۖ وَ حُلُّوا أَسَاوِرَ مِن فِضَّةٍ وَ سَقَاهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ شَرَابًا طَهُورًا ﴿۲۱﴾
|
| [They will be told]:" This is indeed your reward, and your endeavour has been well-appreciated." (22)
|
إِنَّ هَـٰذَا كَانَ لَكُمْ جَزَاءً وَ كَانَ سَعْیكُم مَّشْكُورًا ﴿۲۲﴾
|
| Indeed We have sent down to you the Qur'an in a gradual descent (23)
|
إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا عَلَیكَ الْقُرْآنَ تَنزِیلًا ﴿۲۳﴾
|
| So submit patiently to the judgement of your Lord, and do not obey any sinner or ingrate among them, (24)
|
فَاصْبِرْ لِحُكْمِ رَبِّكَ وَلَا تُطِعْ مِنْهُمْ آثِمًا أَوْ كَفُورًا ﴿۲۴﴾
|
| and celebrate the Name of your Lord morning and evening, (25)
|
وَاذْكُرِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِیلًا ﴿۲۵﴾
|
| and worship Him for a watch of the night and glorify Him the night long (26)
|
وَ مِنَ اللَّـیلِ فَاسْجُدْ لَهُ وَسَبِّحْهُ لَیلًا طَوِیلًا ﴿۲۶﴾
|
| Indeed they love this transitory life, and disregard a weighty day ahead of them (27)
|
إِنَّ هَـٰؤُلَاءِ یحِبُّونَ الْعَاجِلَةَ وَ یذَرُونَ وَرَاءَهُمْ یوْمًا ثَقِیلًا ﴿۲۷﴾
|
| We created them and made their joints firm, and whenever We like We will replace them with others like them (28)
|
نَّحْنُ خَلَقْنَاهُمْ وَ شَدَدْنَا أَسْرَهُمْ ۖ وَ إِذَا شِئْنَا بَدَّلْنَا أَمْثَالَهُمْ تَبْدِیلًا ﴿۲۸﴾
|
| This is indeed a reminder. So let anyone who wishes take the way toward his Lord. (29)
|
إِنَّ هَـٰذِهِ تَذْكِرَةٌ ۖ فَمَن شَاءَ اتَّخَذَ إِلَیٰ رَ بِّهِ سَبِیلًا ﴿۲۹﴾
|
| But you do not wish unless it is wished by Allah. Indeed Allah is all-knowing, all-wise. (30)
|
وَ مَا تَشَاءُونَ إِلَّا أَن یشَاءَ اللَّـهُ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّـهَ كَانَ عَلِیمًا حَكِیمًا ﴿۳۰﴾
|
| He admits whomever He wishes into His mercy, and as for the wrongdoers, He has prepared for them a painful punishment. (31)[1]
|
یدْخِلُ مَن یشَاءُ فِی رَحْمَتِهِ ۚ وَ الظَّالِمِینَ أَعَدَّ لَهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِیمًا ﴿۳۱﴾
