Text:Sura al-Takathur

| In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful. | بِسْمِ الله الرَّحمٰن الرَّحِیم |
| Rivalry [and vainglory] distracted you. (1) | أَلْهَاكُمُ التَّكَاثُرُ ﴿١﴾ |
| until you visited [even] the graves. (2) | حَتَّىٰ زُرْتُمُ الْمَقَابِرَ ﴿٢﴾ |
| No indeed, soon you will know! (3) | كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ ﴿٣﴾ |
| No indeed, soon you will know for yet another time! (4) | ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ ﴿٤﴾ |
| Indeed, were you to know with certain knowledge. (5) | كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عِلْمَ الْيَقِينِ ﴿٥﴾ |
| you would have surely seen hell [in this very life]. (6) | لَتَرَوُنَّ الْجَحِيمَ ﴿٦﴾ |
| Afterward you will surely see it with the eye of certainty. (7) | ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ الْيَقِينِ ﴿٧﴾ |
| Then, on that day, you will surely be questioned concerning the Blessing. (8)[1] | ثُمَّ لَتُسْأَلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ النَّعِيمِ ﴿٨﴾ |
