Text:Sura al-Qari'a

In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.	بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّ‌حْمَـٰنِ الرَّ‌حِيمِ
The Catastrophe! (1)	الْقَارِعَةُ ﴿١﴾
What is the Catastrophe? (2)	مَا الْقَارِعَةُ ﴿٢﴾
What will show you what is the Catastrophe? (3)	وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْقَارِعَةُ ﴿٣﴾
The day mankind will be like scattered moths, (4)	يَوْمَ يَكُونُ النَّاسُ كَالْفَرَاشِ الْمَبْثُوثِ ﴿٤﴾
and the mountains will be like carded wool. (5)	وَتَكُونُ الْجِبَالُ كَالْعِهْنِ الْمَنفُوشِ ﴿٥﴾
As for him whose deeds weigh heavy in the scales, (6)	فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَازِينُهُ ﴿٦﴾
he will have a pleasing life. (7)	فَهُوَ فِي عِيشَةٍ رَّاضِيَةٍ ﴿٧﴾
But as for him whose deeds weigh light in the scales, (8)	وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَازِينُهُ ﴿٨﴾
his home will be the Abyss. (9)	فَأُمُّهُ هَاوِيَةٌ ﴿٩﴾
And what will show you what it is? (10)	وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا هِيَهْ ﴿١٠﴾
It is a scorching fire! (11)	نَارٌ حَامِيَةٌ ﴿١١﴾
