Habbab b. ʿAmir (Harith) b. Kaʿb b. Taym al-Lat b. Thaʿlaba al-Taymi was among the martyrs of Karbala.

He was among Shi'a of Kufa who gave allegiance to Muslim b. Aqil and after the people of Kufa left Muslim alone, according to some sources, he hid among his people and after he was informed about moving Imam al-Husayn (a) toward Kufa, exited Kufa secretly and joined the caravan of Imam (a). He was martyred on the day of Ashura. Some sources reported his martyrdom in the first attack of the army of Umar b. Sa'd.[1]
